Most recently, TigerIT was awarded a contract as the prime contractor for a new integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) for the phase 1 of National ID project in Bangladesh. The AFIS will be used by the Bangladesh army to assist Bangladesh election commission to create an error-free voter roll for the 2008 national parliamentary election to be held in December, 2008.
