Tiger IT Bangladesh Ltd has been ranked second by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) for developing an automated fingerprint identification system (AFIS) with high accuracy.

It is also the first NIST certification in the region and placed Bangladesh among the six NIST certified AFIS countries

Dhaka, Bangladesh - Jul 2, 2009: Bangladesh software development has set yet another landmark by being the 1st country in the region to develop an NIST certified AFIS SDK.
